Draft Creation (AI-assisted)
AI generates initial draft. Humans conduct comprehensive editorial review, fact-checking, and accuracy verification.
Quality Assessment (AI-assisted)
AI analyses grammar, brand voice consistency, and SEO. Humans evaluate recommendations and complete final polish.
Client Review (Human-led)
Humans present content, incorporate feedback, and obtain final client approval.
Publication (Human-led)
Humans conduct final compliance review and handle publication. AI monitors performance.
3.4 When AI Is Not Used
MVPR does not use AI for:
- Strategic planning and decision-making
- Client relationship management
- Legal or compliance advice
- Final publishing decisions
- Contract or business negotiations
- Crisis communications requiring human expertise
4. Quality Control and Accuracy
4.1 Quality Assurance Framework
Layer 1 - AI self-assessment
Confidence scores, flagging of uncertain content, self-citation of sources.
Layer 2 - Automated quality checks
Grammar and syntax validation, plagiarism detection, brand voice consistency scoring, readability analysis.
Layer 3 - Human editorial review
Professional editor review of all AI-generated content, fact-checking, citation verification, tone and style alignment, cultural sensitivity review.
Layer 4 - Client review and approval
All final deliverables require explicit client approval before publication.
4.2 Accuracy and Fact-Checking
Core principles: zero tolerance for fabrication; all factual claims verified against authoritative sources; immediate correction protocol for identified errors.
4.3 Known AI Limitations and Mitigation
AI models may generate plausible but incorrect information, lack real-time knowledge due to training cutoffs, misinterpret nuanced contexts, and exhibit biases present in training data. MVPR mitigates these through human editorial review, supplementary research for recent events, and contextual briefings for nuanced situations.
5. Bias Detection and Fairness
5.2 Bias Mitigation Strategies
- Editorial teams trained to identify and correct biased outputs
- Cultural sensitivity review for diverse audience content
- Prompts designed to elicit balanced perspectives and avoid stereotypes
- Regular review of AI provider commitments to fairness and diverse training data
5.3 Fairness in Journalist Targeting
Our journalist database and targeting algorithms:
- Prioritise relevance based on beat coverage and past work
- Avoid discriminatory filtering by protected characteristics
- Provide transparency in matching logic
Prohibited: filtering journalists by gender, race, ethnicity, or any protected characteristic; algorithmic redlining or systematic exclusion of media outlets.
5.4 Reporting and Remediation
Bias concerns can be reported directly to your Account Director. We investigate within 3 business days, correct the specific output, identify systemic issues, and update prompts or workflows to prevent recurrence. MVPR conducts annual internal bias audits; results available on request.
6. Explainability and Transparency
6.2 Customer's Right to Explanation
Upon request, MVPR provides:
- Identification of specific AI models used for particular deliverables
- Explanation of AI's contribution to specific outputs
