PR Tools by MVPR
Score a story against MVPR's newsworthiness rubric, fingerprint a person's writing style, and find the journalists on a beat. The tools run inside your AI assistant. They are free and need no sign-in.
Server address
https://mvpr.io/pr-tools/mcpSet up in Claude
Five steps. About a minute.
Pasting the address into a chat does not connect the tools. Add it as a connector once, and the tools are there in every chat.
- 01
Copy the server address
Use the button above, or copy https://mvpr.io/pr-tools/mcp
- 02
Open Settings, then Connectors
In Claude, open Settings and choose Connectors.
- 03
Add a custom connector
Choose "Add custom connector". Name it "PR Tools by MVPR" and paste the address as the URL.
- 04
Leave the sign-in empty
The server needs no account and no key.
- 05
Start a new chat and ask
Switch the connector on, then ask: "Is this newsworthy? We just signed a top-10 UK insurer as a customer."
What it does
Three methods from MVPR, and the knowledge behind them
Is this newsworthy?
Describe your news. You get a score out of 30 across 10 editorial factors, a reason for each, the 5 questions journalists ask, and 3 ways to make the story stronger. Funding news has its own path.

Writing style fingerprint
Paste 3 to 5 pieces by one person. It analyses 78 mechanics within written language to capture an author's unique style, tone and structure. Each mechanic comes with a score, a quote as evidence and a rule. Then rewrite any draft in that voice.

Find journalists
Name a beat and some outlets. Your assistant gets MVPR's research method and does the search on public pages. Each fact comes with a source. It never guesses an email address.
get_journalist_research_method
PR craft knowledge
MVPR's data on why journalists act or do not act. It describes the past across many companies. It is not a forecast for your story.
get_pr_knowledge, get_mvpr_next_step
The newsworthiness score is a judgement against a fixed rubric. It is not a promise of coverage. The fingerprint needs 300 words or more by one person in one channel.
Two different connectors
This is not the MVPR account connector
PR Tools by MVPR is free and needs no sign-in. It holds no data of a person. The MVPR account connector lets an assistant query the data of your MVPR account, and it needs an MVPR account.
FAQ
Common questions
Why did my assistant not use the tools when I pasted the address?
A chat treats a pasted address as text. It may try to open it as a web page, and a web page is not what this is. The address is an MCP server. Add it as a connector, as in the steps above, and the tools appear.
Is this the same as the MVPR account connector?
No. The MVPR account connector gives an assistant the data of your MVPR account and needs a sign-in. PR Tools by MVPR needs no sign-in, holds no data of a person and has 10 tools that run MVPR's methods.
Does it cost anything?
No. The AI tools have a daily limit for each person. A team that wants no limit, and wants the results in its own PR workspace, uses the MVPR application.
What happens to the text I paste?
The server does not keep it. Nothing from a call is stored. The writing style tools send your text to an AI model to analyse it, and the result stays in your chat.
Which assistants does it work with?
Any assistant that supports a custom MCP connector over streamable HTTP. A ChatGPT plugin is in review with OpenAI.
