What it means for customers

The company task board now includes a Task Group filter. You can use it to scope the board to a single group of pre-defined tasks - such as those belonging to a specific announcement or approval process - instead of viewing everything at once. The filter is live now and available to all users of the company task board.

Why we built it

We built this filter after hearing from customers that wanted to create templated task workflows as a way to organise projects, and who needed a straightforward way to view only the tasks belonging to a single group at a time so that they could easily check status. It is also a step towards formalising task grouping more broadly across the platform.

Use cases

  • A team running one task group per campaign can filter the board to that task group and see only its action items, without noise from unrelated work.
  • A user managing multiple ongoing projects can switch between task group filters quickly to compare workloads across each one.
  • An in-house team tracking progress on a specific announcement can isolate its tasks and check status at a glance.
  • A user who works across several concurrent task groups can use the filter to focus on one at a time and reduce distraction.

Why it matters

When all tasks appear on the board at once, it is harder to track progress on any single piece of work. The Task Group filter removes that friction - if your team organises work into pre-defined task sets, you can now narrow the board down to exactly what is relevant to the project in front of you.
