Web search with guardrails
WebResources is now available to all users, not just admins.
What it means for customers
Web search is now available to all users, not just admins. Anyone on your team can add a web resource - such as a company blog or documentation site - so that the AI assistant periodically reads that content and draws on it when helping you.
Why we built it
Companies frequently need to draw from live product pages and blogs to ensure messaging consistency - this is a way to do that without polluting the platform with content unintentionally. Like this users can pull in specific context - web search with guardrails.
Use cases
- A team member adds their company blog as a web resource so Ivy stays up to date with the latest published content.
- A non-admin user sets up and manages web resources independently, without needing to request help from an administrator.
- An in-house team connects an internal knowledge base as a web resource so Ivy can reference it during everyday tasks.
- A user points Ivy at a regularly updated resource page to ensure responses reflect the most current information available.
Why it matters
Giving every user the ability to manage web resources means your team can keep Ivy informed without pulling in the wrong information.
